Where do people go?

The duration of the time spent by visitors in the Cape has increased considerably over the past years, and corresponds to the upgrading and increase in the quality and number of attractions.

Should one be surprised that a Casino takes the top spot?  Probably not; it was one of the largest investments in Cape Town in recent years.  More surprising is the destination with the biggest growth – the penguin colony at Simon's Town's Boulders Beach.

We're busy updating the figues and they will be added as soon as they are received.  There are two newcomers – the Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) and Chapman's Peak Drive.  Chapman's Peak's monthly figures after re-opening on 17 December 2003 were:
