Whether you loved or loathed the 1980’s everyone can relate to the music! Cast your mind back to a time before DVD’s, cell phones, shops open on Sundays, fancy computers, iPods and high fuel prices…. the ‘good old days’.
SO 80’s will take you on a journey back to a time when Michael Jackson and Rick Astley were the Kings of Pop, when bubble skirts and blue eye shadow were cool. The decade when computer and video games were invented, and bad hair was declared cool. Everyone owned a Rubik’s cube, a Cabbage Patch kid or a Ninja turtle. A time when ray bans, sneakers & aerobics were hot.
From the producer’s of “Blue Eyes to Buble”, and “By George, it’s Gerswin” and directed by Sean Bovim who brought you the highly acclaimed “Queen at the Ballet” SO 80’s will star four vibrant, versatile and energetic performers, who will rock the night away to the sounds of Aha, Eurythmics, Starship, Climie Fisher, Madonna, Men at work, Police and many more icons of the 80’s.
Put on your spandex, Adidas takkies, leg warmers, your oldest jeans and oversized shirt, and cover up with your trenchcoat. Accessorise with banana clips, leather jewellery with spikes and crimp your hair – then join us for the best party in town this festive season!
