Activities Available
All activities available are for the exclusive use of guests staying at “The Vineyard Lifestyle” by Alluvia Wine Estate.
No visitors are permitted to make use of any facilities if not staying with us.
Private and exclusive golf lessons are available on the Estate’s PGA Golf Green.
Private tuition for fly fishing on the Estate’s dam can be arranged via reception.
For any of the activities available, please contact reception for arrangements and equipment.
Bird Watching
Many interesting and rare species are to be sighted and a bird sanctuary is under investigation at the islands of Willow Trees in the dam.
Please take caution with quick movements or loud movements as this may frighten the birds to dangerous behavior.
Fly Fishing
The dam was built for the guest staying at Alluvia. Resident fish in the dam are Tilapia, black bass and Trout. Guests are reminded that fishing takes the form of catch-and-release.
Golf Carts
Take some time out and explore the estate with a golf cart.
Please note that these vehicles are fragile and drives at a very slow speed whilst reckless driving can cause serious injury.
Alluvia can not be held responsible for any injuries or damage cause as result of such incident.
Mountain Bikes
For the more active and adventurous guests, we have two mountain bikes available on the premises. Extra mountain bikes can be obtained, however prior notice needs to be given for arrangement.
PGA Golf Green & Bunker
A feature we are truly proud of as we have erected it with the utmost care and planning. We urge you to enjoy this exclusive facility with the according etiquette.
Tours
We offer a wide variety of tours by one of Stellenbosch top tour operators. Tours such as Whale Watching, Cape Town, Safari, Namaqualand Flowers, Golf and Spa days are some of the great offerings available. Please note that most activities are seasonal and subject to availability. To avoid disappointment, activities need to be reserved at least 48 hours in advance.
