Dyer Island EcoAdventures
B
e adventurous!  Go on a surface boat view or even a cage dive view of the magnificent Great White Shark. Great White Shark Expeditions The Great White Shark has been one of the most misunderstood, hated animals on the planet and given the bad reputation of "man-eater".  It has been hunted and killed to the point where it is now endangered and therefore protected.  It is true that it's razor sharp teeth and powerful jaws can kill a human being in a matter of seconds, however, the Great White Shark is not a mindless killing machine, it is in fact, a highly selective predator.   Humans do not form part of it's natural diet and attacks on humans are extremely rare.  The best months to view them are April, May, June & July, however the season stretches to the end of October.  The cruise lasts from 5 to 7 hours (full day) and all diving equipment plus refreshments are included in the price of R1000 per person.  This is a great opportunity to view these spectacular creatures in their natural feeding ground.
