BIRDWATCHING:
Cosy Cottage B&B is situated next to the Mooi River Trail (part of the 60ha OPM Prozesky Bird Sanctuary) which runs through the Green Belt area in the city of Potchefstroom. The nearly 200 bird species attract bird lovers far and wide. Some of these bird species can be viewed in the park-like gardens of Cosy Cottage B&B.
The Mooi River Trail (about 100 meters from our doorstep) may be followed along the Mooi River up to the Potchefstroom Lakeside Holiday Resort.
We organise daily Birdwatching trips to the OPM-Prozesky Bird Sanctuary as well as to six other birdings sites (spots) within 20 km from our establishment. Contact us for more detail.
