Getting there
If you are driving from Cape Town you have the choice between two routes. The first will take you through the beautiful farmlands of the Overberg district, the second route via the magnificent coastline through Hermanus. Directions via Caledon Take the N2 over Sir Lowreys Pass until you reach Caledon. Turn right into town, go past the silos on the right, in the direction of Napier for about 30 km until you reach Van Brakel Store on the right hand side, then turn right into the R326 at the 4-way crossing. Continue for 20 km and then turn left at the t-junction (into the R43) at Stanford. Follow this road past De Kelders and Gansbaai, then turn right into Franskraal (approximately 5 km from Gansbaai). La Provence Nr 5 is situated on the right hand side. Directions via Hermanus Take the N2 over Sir Lowreys Pass then turn right into the R43 via Hermanus towards Standford. Follow the R43 past De Kelders and Gansbaai, then turn right into Franskraal approximately 5 km from Gansbaai. La Provence Nr 5 is situated on the right hand side.
