Mohlabetsi Safari Lodge

Address Balule Nature Reserve, Greater Kruger Park, Hoedspruit District
Mpumalanga

Tony, Alma and their colleagues warmly welcome guests to their relaxing and friendly oasis in the bush. Set in the vast Balule Nature Reserve, part of the Greater Kruger Park, this is home to a superb variety of fauna and flora, including the legendary “Big 5”. Our guides bring guests up close to nature on game drives and foot safaris and their experience and enthusiasm make these trips unforgettable. Comfortable thatched rondawels, with al fresco showers, are decorated in an African theme.

Unwind during the heat of the day around a sparkling pool or in the shade of the lapa, under giant acacia trees. Enjoy soothing massages in our “Tranquility Lapa”. Traditional songs and dancing by African ladies herald romantic dinners under the stars, often punctuated by the roaring of lions and the whooping of hyaenas. The Lodge is easily accessible by road or by daily flights from Johannesburg.

There is a choice of 2 Lodges. The Safari Lodge is a fully catered camp with only 20 beds, thereby ensuring the luxury of privacy. Rates are from R1200 per person per day, fully inclusive.

The Bush Lodge is a self-catering camp set deep in the Bush. Your own private lodge - book it in it's entirety with a maximum of 10 guests. The Rate is R3950 per day & this includes 2 safari activities per day.

We do have seasonal specials in May, June & July.
