6 St. John's Terrace is a light, bright, sunny, colourful and most comfortable double story townhouse in the heart of trendy Green Point, first suburb out of Downtown Cape Town on the Atlantic side of the Peninsula, and thus ideally situated for the best that the city has to offer. We have 3 bedrooms each with their own en-suite bathroom and balcony. 2 of the bedrooms have double beds while the 3rd has 2 singles, or 1 if preferred. We are geared up to take large groups and can sleep 13 guests altogether, in their own beds, with full linen and towels. The lounge has a TV with DStv, a DVD player and literally hundreds of movies available anytime and quite free, a VCR and a hi-fi system, and a double sleeper couch...and the foyer has a WC with a handbasin. The dining area seats 10 and the kitchen has every modern convenience. There is parking for a single standard-sized vehicle behind a remote-controlled garage door, and direct access into the large open-plan lounge, dining area and kitchen. Security is paramount throughout and there's a safe in one of the bedrooms.

St. John's Terrace is situated in the trendy and vibrant suburb of Green Point, on the Atlantic Seaboard of the Cape Peninsula, right next to downtown Cape Town.

6 St. John's Terrace is a charming double story Victorian residence in a terrace of townhouses in Croxteth Road, which runs parallel to and inbetween High Level Road and Main Road, both of which offer public transport.

The accommodation is very centrally situated for the best that the city has to offer. The Victoria and Alfred Waterfront is less than 5 minutes' drive and an easy 15 minute stroll. Sea Point, with its restauants, beaches and open-air swimming pools, is the adjoining suburb and the stunning and hugely popular beaches of Clifton and Camps Bay are a 10 minute drive.

Green Point is alive with excellent restaurants, coffee bars and food outlets, as well as a liquor store, post office, bakery and a DVD and video hire shop. The largest gym in the city is down the road and on Sundays there's an enormous and colourful outdoor market.

From Green Point to the Table Mountain cable staton is around 15 minutes' drive. Ferries to Robben Island leave from the nearby Waterfront and the major access roads in and out of the city are very easily accessible.

ACCOMMODATION

The entrance to the house is via the street-level front door or through a remote-controlled garage, which provides parking for one standard-sized car. There is ample street parking for additional cars.

From the foyer ( which offers a huest WC and handbasin ) guests enter the large and very comfortable open-plan lounge, leading to the dining area and kitchen.

There's a TV with DStv, a DVD player, a VCR and hi-fi ssystem. Guests can choose from literally hundreds of complimentary movies at any time.

Also in the lounge, a double sleeper-couch and space for another single bed, providing acccommodation for up to 13 guests, with bed linen and towels for everyone.

The kitchen has a washer-dryer, a dishwasher, hob with undercounter oven, large extractor fan, fridge-freezer, microwave, coffee percolator and all the pots and pans, crockery and cutlery necessary for large groups.
Stairs from the dining area lead down to a garden patio with washing lines and a portable braai / bar-b-q.

Upstairs, 3 bedrooms, each with its own full bathroom en-suite and a balcony. 2 bedrooms have double beds and the 3rd has 2 singles. If required,a first floor sitting room inbetween these bedrooms can be adapted to become a four-bd extra bedroom.

Cecurity is paramount throughout and there's a safe for valuables in one of the bedrooms.

The helpful owner, Bernie Lurie, who lives in premises connected to the house but with a separate entrance, is always on hand to help make your time in 6 St. John's Terrace very special.
