Cliff Lodge is a stylish seafront guest house, superbly positioned on the dramatic cliffs of De Kelders, near Gansbaai, and just 30km from Hermanus. The five luxurious bedrooms have satellite television and sea facing patios. Rooms range from standard side sea view, to spacious sea front, and a luxurious suite. The spacious penthouse suite has unbeatable sea views, with a huge balcony and glass-fronted living room for whale watching in true style - perfect for honeymooners or an executive getaway.
Our guests have the use of a comfortable guest lounge, all weather sea-front conservatory and a spacious balcony overlooking the sea. There is an ocean front plunge pool, and various massage therapies are available. This is the perfect place to unwind and relax! Set on the cliffs, right above the sea with breathtaking views across Walker Bay, Cliff Lodge is 25 minutes from Hermanus in the tranquil village of De Kelders. This magnificent, unspoilt coastline, with its sandy beaches and rugged cliffs, is one of the best vantage points in the world for land-based whale watching. You will be able to see and hear the magnificent southern right whales that visit our shores each year as they mate, calve and play. Gansbaai is also reputed world-wide to be one of the best places to observe and dive with the endangered Great White Sharks.
The luxurious, stylish rooms are individually decorated and have en-suite bathrooms. They all have sea views, and open onto outside patios. The atmosphere is relaxed and informal, and with only five rooms we are able to cater to each guest’s needs.

The unspoilt coastline of De Kelders, just outside Gansbaai is one of the best vantage points in the world for land-based whale watching. The Gansbaai area is also famous for Great White Shark viewing and has magnificent fynbos (wildflowers) and perfect white beaches.
