The Ark Bed & Breakfast

3 star TGCSA
Address 22 Puren Road
Pearly Beach
Western Cape

… relax and unwind …

We welcome you to one of the oldest houses in Pearly Beach, sitting high on the dunes just a stone’s throw from the sea. The Ark offers you the opportunity to totally relax and unwind in a tranquil and peaceful setting with a real “home from home” environment. There are spectacular views of the mountains, and views over the bay as far as Quoin Point in one direction and Dangerpoint lighthouse in the other.

Enjoy a delicious breakfast in our guest lounge, or up on the mezzanine overlooking the bay, where you will see whales (between July and January) and, maybe, dolphins and seals. Then you can enjoy a walk along the seemingly endless white sandy beaches exploring the rockpools, and perhaps do some fishing from the beach, or birdwatching amongst the fynbos. In the evening, you can watch the sun setting over the sea and, later, gaze at the dazzling array of stars. Quite often, you will even witness the milky way.

We offer 2 double rooms with en-suite facilities, and a large family (triple) room with private bathroom.  The comfortable guest lounge/dining room is equipped with tea/coffee making facilities, honesty bar for soft drinks, microwave and fridge for your use, tv, radio, cd player.

Ideal for short stopovers, or a relaxing longer stay.
