Go for Gold! Help set a world record for community marketing!
What's it all about? We are gathering a collection of electronic "postcards" from businesses (big and small) and destinations that promote South Africa's uniqueness and capacity, that South Africans can email to family, friends and colleagues around South Africa and the world.
We're looking for "postcards" and interactive programmes that amuse, inspire, inform, contribute to nation-building and show the world what a great nation we really are. This campaign aims to make friends... and grow business! It's an opportunity for creative people to show off their stuff!
WE challenge businesses, destinations and creative people throughout South Africa to submit additional eCards. Selling "product" is secondary, we want eCards that enthrall! If you want to participate... click here for more.
WE challenge ordinary South Africans and friends of South Africa to send these eCards to family, friends and colleagues in their email address books. We challenge corporates to send eCards to their colleagues around the world. Bookmark this page and visit frequently to see new eCards you can share.

CapeInfo prepared a few eCards to demonstrate what we mean. (If we'd had sunshine hours for Johannesburg and Durban, we would have included them in our "Sunshine" card – we are promoting South Africa and CapeInfo's advertisers are spread throughout SA.) We are waiting for eCards from Cape Town Tourism and Table Mountain National Park.
The "Sunshine" card could be sent by all accommodation establishments to guests from the UK and Germany, as well as by local families to relatives in those countries. All Capetonians and Cape Town businesses (not forgetting Cape Town Routes Unlimited, Cape Town Tourism and Wesgro) should send "Great" to all non-Capetonians in their address books. "Light_work" is one all South Africans will find useful, but it's also a call to action for a global response.
Just click on a thumbnail below to see the full sized eCard and send it to friends and colleagues. (The name of the submitter is also shown.)
