CAPE TOWN - EATING OUT

Best in the World

Cape Town was rated the best city in the world for eating out in a recent poll of British Airways staff.  New York came second in the eating out category, with Sydney third.  The poll of some of the “most well-travelled employees on the planet” was published in the September 2004 edition of the airline’s onboard magazine, Highlife.

Besides top scoring on the cuisine count, Cape Town’s rated highly in the best view category, with Table Mountain, coming second after Corcovado in Rio de Janeiro.  The Great Wall of China came third.

CapeInfo is asking some locals what they recommend to guests and visitors.  More will follow!
